For patients with complex medical needs who do not require intensive nursing care, Bitterroot Living Center's SubAcute care provides highly skilled and compassionate medical, nursing and rehabilitative care in a non-acute setting.  SubAcute Care is for patients that need after hospital care for stroke, post surgery, knee replacement, bariatrics, respiratory therapy, inpatient & outpatient rehab, etc.

Patients enrolled in our  subacute program reside for a short period (28 days, on average),  where they receive nursing and therapy care to rebuild their strength and also learn how to better manage their disease or condition.

The Bitterroot Living Center's SubAcute Program is certified for Medicaid, Medicare and VA Benefits.
